The miracle newborn who survived after mother fell 90ft to her death from tenth floor window: Grieving daughter shares photo of baby ‘Posie’ in hospital – as tragic mum’s last post is revealed
This is the first picture of the miracle baby girl who survived a 90ft tower block fall that killed her mother.
Little Posie is seen in her hospital cot with tubes in her mouth and nose as her sister Demi lovingly places her hand on her chest.
She was delivered five weeks premature in hospital yesterday morning and is in ‘critical care’ after her mother Emma Atkinson died when she plunged from the tenth floor of Shakespeare Towers, in Burmantofts, Leeds.
Mother-of-five Emma, who was in her 30s, had named her unborn girl weeks before she was born. Only last month she posted a picture on her Facebook page of her posing in front of a mirror proudly showing off her bump.
In the heartbreaking post, the expecting mother confirmed she was due in ten weeks, writing: ‘It’s a girl I couldn’t be happier.’
Her grieving daughter Demi yesterday broke the tragic news on Facebook in an agonising tribute as she pleaded for her mother to ‘please come home’.
‘I need you so much mum, please come home. I just wanna kiss you and hear your voice. I love you more then life mum,’ she wrote.
