Girls Come to “Show” Off Their New Dresses at Dad’s Grave

Before he passed away from cancer,

Inside each box was a letter and a pair of shoes. In his letter, written as if from heaven,

enjoy life, and even sneak cookies from the pantry as they had when he was around.

It was a touching reminder of his enduring love.

Madison, the older of the two, suspected the gifts were her mother’s way of honoring

Brian’s wishes, putting aside her own grief to create this moment for them.

The visit and the thoughtful gifts helped Linda and her daughters find solace,

realizing that Brian’s love would always be a part of their lives.
