Maggie Mull, Mull’s daughter, claims that her father passed away “after a valiant fight against a long illness” at home. This was posted on Instagram by Maggie.

“He would find that joke amusing.” He was always amusing. Among the many people who adored my dad were his wife and daughter, his colleagues and coworkers, other musicians, comedians, and artists, and most importantly, a ton of dogs. I adored him dearly.
