Mom discovers baby toys on her 21-year-old son’s grave after his death.
When Leonard turned 18, his parents were eager to see him attend law school. They always imagined their son being a successful lawyer, running his own firm. But the moment Leonard told them his dream was to become a musician, their world crushed.
Kenneth and Lily, his parents, refused to encourage him to pursue a career in music because they felt they understood what was best for their son. Following a contentious debate about this choice, Leonard moved out of his parents’ house.
They didn’t speak to one another for three long years. Kenneth and Lily attempted to contact Leonard, but Leonard cut them off entirely. They received periodic reports on him from some family members with whom he kept in contact, so they knew he was doing well. They hoped When Leonard stopped being angry with them, his parents hoped he would get in touch with them, but regrettably, that day never arrived.
Lily and Kenneth got the most heartbreaking news on a Sunday morning that seemed just like any other in their lives. They were contacted by the police to inform them that their son had died in a motorcycle accident.

She saw a teddy bear on the grave on the first day after the funeral. She took it and planted flowers in its place since she believed someone had accidentally left it there.

She saw a young woman visiting Leonard’s grave on the third day, carrying a child. Lily shouted out to her just as she was ready to lay another teddy bear on the grave.
The young lady had a terrified and sad expression. She began to cry when Lily came up to her.
Lily was more perplexed by all of this. The woman told her that she was Leonard’s girlfriend and that the child was his when she questioned her about why she was there.
Lily was taken aback. She was unable to speak because she simply froze. How could this have happened? She had a grandson after losing her cherished son.
The woman, who identified herself as Carrie, talked about Leonard, how they fell deeply in love, how they had a baby together, and how they had met while he was working at a bar to support his music career. Leonard waited for the ideal moment to make apologies with his parents, but regrettably, it never arrived.
Carrie was invited home by Lily. She presented her hubby to her. After a lengthy discussion, Carrie consented to Lily and Kenneth being involved in her child’s life.
